4 September 1990. The remains of an aluminium raft, part totally submerged but part supported by plastic flotation tanks, was examined on 6 July 1990. The raft covers an area 20 x 40 metres (62.3 x 131.2 feet) and is in the advanced stages of disintegration, being buckled and twisted. It is held together by heavily encrusted cage nets but sections may break off completely. The original mooring appears intact. The site constitutes a hazard to navigation at 57 16 25N, 005 33 24W.
