An unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet xcii) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1991).

A rapid walk-over archaeological survey was carried out in 1999 by J. Wordsworth as part of the preparation for a planned Community Woodland in Knoydart.
Site 22: The building recorded here was not examined and no information was available as to its current status. On the evidence of site 20, it is likely to be severely damaged. <1>
