Page 8 of Market Crosses of Scotland. Includes an engraving of 'Fig. 4. In the Churchyard of Foulis-Easter.' Inscribed: '...side of the Cross from the jougs. It seems to have been so at Ormiston and Crieff, in both of which the iron staples still remain.''
This is almost certainly referring to the church and churchyard of Fowlis Easter in Angus, not Foulis in Easter Ross [IS-L 08/11/2022].
