A township comprising five unroofed buildings, one of which is attached to an enclosure by a length of wall, and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet xxviii). Four unroofed buildings and part of the head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1971).
