Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 23 April 1996.

A rapid walk-over survey of a proposed Woodland Grant Scheme application at North Applecross, Wester Ross, was undertaken by C. Dagg.

Site no. L9: Sheepfank, fields, clearance cairns. An extensive area of previous cultivation and large clearance cairns straddles the river where the land flattens out. A footpath leads to this area from Lonbain township, crossing the small tributary burn by stepping stones. The sheepfank appears to still be in seasonal use. <1>
