Wester Ross Project - Cathy Dagg, 03/04
------
A rare surviving nuclear settlement at the top of an alluvial fan, containing one surviving 19th century occupied building, one modern house and a new building site which has involved the removal of one structure on the footprint of which the new house is being built, and probably two further buildings to provide access. The remaining buildings are substantial ruins.
The croftlands between the township and the road to the west contain several substantial field clearance piles. The trackway leading south on the high ground can still be followed.
