An archaeological survey at Rothiemurchas was undertaken by Dr T C Welsh in 1993.
On an elevation, west side of a gully, there are 5 turf/peat huts; 10 x 8m, 7 x 6m, 7 x 5m, 8m and 5m diameter. <1>
