Full Description
An archaeological survey at Rothiemurchas was undertaken by Dr T C Welsh in 1993.
20m east of forest gate at Forest Cottage, a ruined limekiln 4m square with the front wall collapsed covering stoke hole. <1>
A limekiln in a very ruinous state. It is located just through the gate beyond Forest Cottage and has trees growing out of it.
It is shown on the OS 1st edition map.
