A farmstead comprising two unroofed buildings, one of which has two compartments, an enclosure and some walls is depicted in an area of coniferous woodland on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cormartyshire 1881, sheet xlii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).
