A farmstead comprising two unroofed long buildings, an unroofed structure with an attached enclosure which may be a kiln-barn and another enclosure, and a head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1987)
