A farmstead comprising one unroofed and four roofed buildings, one of which is a long building and another of which is an L-shaped long building withan attached horse-gang, and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxiv). Six roofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1975)
