A township comprising two roofed and ten unroofed buildings, three of which are long buildings, six enclosures and some field walls is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxvii). Two roofed and eight unroofed buildings, three enclosures, one of which has six compartments, a field-system and some field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1963).
