A township, comprising one partially roofed long building, six unroofed buildings, three enclosures, a field-system and what may be a head-dyke, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxviii). Five unroofed buildings and three enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
