What may be a township comprising five unroofed buildings, two of which are long buildings, and some short lengths of wall is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxvii). Four unroofed buildings, one of which is a six compartment, long building, and an unroofed structure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1962).
