What may be a farmstead comprising one unroofed T-shaped long building of three compartments with an attached enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix). A two compartment unroofed building with an attached enclosure is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1988).
