A township comprising nine unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building, one enclosure and some field walls is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxxviii). Four unroofed buildings and a field wall are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1963).
