Full Description
Longhouse farm (ND 1040 5708), 'Tongside'. Originally a quadrangular farm altered into an E-shaped, still occupied.

Four roofed buildings and a sluice are depicted on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xvii). Three roofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1970).
