What may be a township, comprising three unroofed buildings, an enclosure and a field-system is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet xcv), and on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1992).

The features are visible on vertical aerial photographs. <1>
NOTE: This area of enclosures and buildings although separate from the main township of Dola was possibly still considered part of it.
