Longhouse farm, Clasgal. The farmconsists of a range of units 18.2 x 5.3m, orientated NE-SW with a unit 8.2 x 5m running alongside its SW wall. At right angles to and attached to the NE end is a byre 9.4 x 4m containing stall. A modern bungalow is attached to its NW end. To the NE and parallel to the byre is a bipartite wooden shed 14 x 3.6m, also containing stall.

One roofed building, one unroofed building and two small enclosures are depicted on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xviii). One unroofed building is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1971).
