Once an extensive distillery...but the track of it only remains. It was in working order as late as 1850.

Wolfburn (also Wolf Barn), Caithness (exact location unknown).

A single unroofed building, annotated as Wolfburn Distillery, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet v). It is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1985). Info from RCAHMS (AKK) 20 December 1995.
NB GR corrected to above from 1st ed OS
"Wolfburn Distillery (In Ruins)" marked on 1st ed OS V long linear building NW-SE, attached another thinner. Smaller one to E of both but on same alignment. No buildings are marked in this area on 2nd ed OS - HAW 2/2003
