The enclosure, at NC 8338 1297, is possibly later as it may be associated with a nearby minor depopulated site (see NC81SW 13)
Visited by OS (R D L) 1 May 1964.
The sheepfold, at NC 8338 1297, is reduced to turf-covered footings.
Visited by OS (J B) 30 December 1975.
This farmstead, which is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969) as two unroofed buildings and a sheepfold, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet lxxxviii) as two enclosures, one of which was described by the OS field investigator as a sheepfold.
