A farmstead comprising three roofed buildings, one of which has a horse-gang attached, one partially roofed building and four enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xviii). One roofed and one unroofed building are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1971).
