A farmstead comprising three unroofed buildings attached to a series of enclosures annotated as a sheepfold are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxiii). One roofed and one unroofed, two compartment buidling and a sheepfold are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1994).
