A farmstead comprising one roofed, one partially roofed and one unroofed building arranged around a courtyard is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xii). An enclosure is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
