GR given to most SW of group pf buildings. On 1st ed OS this is on NE corner of small irreg enclosure - HAW 6/2004

Longhouse farm (ND 1863 6326);
A: Longhouse. Dimensions: 11 x 5m. Rectangular structure built of large stones, apparently divided into three units, associated with a rectangular enclosure to the S and W. Orientation E-W.
B: Longhouse. Dimensions: 12 x 6m. Rectangular structure, the remains of deserted modern house, later used to house animals as it contained stalls. It lies to the N of A. Orientation E-W.
C: Barn. Dimensions: 12 x 5m. Modern bipartite barn lying 19m N of B and joined to it by a wall.
D: Enclosure. Dimensions: 8 x 7m. Enclosure defined by grass-covered banks with no evident entrance, situated between the longhouse and the modern structures.

A farmstead comprising one partially roofed long building, four roofed buildings, one of which is L-shaped, and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xii). One roofed and one partially roofed building are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1970).
