Full Description
Longhouse (ND 1410 5351). Dimensions: 20 x 5m. Rectangular structure formed by indefinite grass-covered walls 0.5m high. Orientation NW-SE.

A farmstead comprising an unroofed long building attached to an enclosure is shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xvii). It is similarly depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1963), the building being shown with three compartments.
