This series of cottages referred to locally as "The Barracks", tied to stories of these being workers cottages of quarrymen from Cornwall brought in to mine manganese in the latter part of the C18 - cottages supposedly of "cornish style" - see NC40SE0014 for mining records etc - HAW 12/2003

Marked as Rosehall Inn on the 1st ed OS - HAW 8/2003
