A crofting township comprising fifteen roofed buildings and three unroofed structures, two of which may be buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1876, sheet cv) to the south of the road to Dunrobin Mains. Ten roofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).
