Full Description

Shielings (remains of): S of road at Cnoc-glas and close to Cnoc-glas Water are 7 small mutilated shieling foundations, varying from 5 by 3m to 9 by 3m in size. Some of these are situated on slight mounds, and some have been divided into two compartments. A few stones define their rectangular plan in some cases. Visited by OS (J L D) 10 April 1961.

There are 14 shieling footings altogether; seven more similar examples have been newly located E of the published group.
