This L-plan steading with detached house is now disused as a farm. Some parts are used as a general store and workshops, while other parts are now ruinous (see MS/744/55).

NC50SW 6 5068 0202

This small 'L'-shaped range which once included a two-storey dwelling, stable, a yard, a byre and a water-powered threshing machine. The threshing machine has been removed but the extremely interesting waterwheel is still in position. There is a surviving extensive dam wall, but the dam is now dry.
RCAHMS, 1998 (Scottish Farm Buildings Survey).
See NMRS MS/744/55.

Photographs were taken of this farmstead during a walkover survey on adjacent land by West Coast Archaeological Services. <1>
