A township comprising two partially roofed long buildings and eight unroofed buildings, three of which are long buildings, three enclosures and some field walls is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xvii). Four unroofed buildings and some field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1963).
