NH 5655 3000 - 5999 3498: The B852 and B862 public roads are on the line of the 1732 Wade road (re-alignment of c130m at NH 5996 3494 isolates the old metalled road on the W side).
NH 5987 3000 - 5999 3198: B862 public road, then a minor road to Loch Ashie, is on the line of the 1726 Wade road. At NH 5982 3127, an 80m re-alignment isolates the old road and is visible as a disused metalled layby.
