A farmstead comprising a single unroofed building and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet x). One unroofed building of two compartments and part of the enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1987).
