What may be a farmstead comprising an unroofed building with an adjoining enclosure, and a second enclosure some 50m to the S are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet x). They are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1969).
