What may be an unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xviii) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1964).

Although described as a building, on aerial photographs it has more of the appearance of a small enclosure [IS-L 15/11/2012].
