Not to be confused with Tongue, Ferry Pier (NC 5809 5849), for which see NC55NE 26. For adjacent boathouse, see NC55NE 28.
(Location cited as NC 592 588). Pier, Tongue, probably early 20th century. A substantial masonry pier with an angled head.

A further boat-house is on the other side of the road. This whole complex is being maintained, and apart from some cracks on the pier is in usable condition. <1>
