Viewfield House, Portree, originally dating to the late C18 was substantially extended by architect Alexander Ross in 1885-7.
The building was listed at Category C(S) in 1982.
Listing subsequently changed to Category C.
The statutory listing address and non-statutory listing description were amended by Historic Scotland in 2012 to also include the outbuilding to the northwest (see MHG57181). <1>
