Full Description

The remains of an early C19th fishing packing/curing station, later used as farm steading, to the southeast of Corry House, Broadford.

The complex consists of a north facing rubble stable (?) block with a large courtyard to the rear with the remains of a fishing packing/curing station on the other three sides, later used as a farm steading. The stables were later converted to village hall use. It was listed at Category B with group value with the nearby Corry Lodge as 'Broadford Corry Lodge Boat House' in 1971.

"…fishgutting and packing station, converted to stables/ steadings and later ruinous, although formed from one byre range is the chapel of St. Maol Ruadh (RC), 2000, with stained glass window by Ian Chard. Boat/coach house, c.1800,a rustic pedimented pavilion backing onto the courtyard, with rubbly engaged columns between pretty round-arched windows to upper floor." <1>
