Full Description

Fresh flint nodules were recovered from the beach at John o' Groats. They have been deposited in the Artefact Research Unit, Royal Museum, Edinburgh.
C R Wickham-Jones and C Firth 1990a.

A number of 'Flake[s] or bashed lump[s] of flint' from near John O'Groats are listed in the NMS catalogue, Acc. Nos. AB 3059- AB 3074. These are likely to be from this site. <1>
