A farmstead on the Allt Clais Raoin, Latheron.
The site was Scheduled with two other farmsteads (see MHG617 and MHG39362) and an area of prehistoric settlement (see MHG669 and MHG1672) by Historic Scotland in 1991: Centred ND 1375 3143, on either side of Allt Clais Raoin, are three buildings. These include a kiln barn and two rectangular buildings.
A farmstead comprising three unroofed buildings and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxxviii) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1962).
