Full Description
Dam and sub circular pond all stone made & lined. Dam itself flat fronted downwater, with tapered rear in pond. Top line and sluices no longer intact. Edges line with unmortared but substantial stone blocks. Approached by good quality stone lined leat. Mill wheel is attached to further side of mains buildings, channel ran from here under lane with outlet above burn. This portion under lane removed during laying of new pipes by Scottish Water. - HAW 5/2003
