Full Description

A circular enclosure, formed by a turf bank about 24m in diameter and 0.4m maximum height. It is in a mutilated state and there is no apparent entrance.

(ND 0098 5916) Enclosure (NR) OS 6"map, (1963).

A circular enclosure, situated in a poorly-drained position, measuring 23.5m in diameter within a turf and reed-covered bank spread to 2.5m and 0.4m high. The interior is heather-covered; no entrance is evident. The date and purpose are uncertain, but it appears to be of some antiquity, probably an animal fold associated with the minor deserted township to the NW (ND05NW(M) 7).
