Full Description
A cairn, which has been ploughed through and planted with conifers; there are a number of rubble stones exposed in the furrows.

Mound (NR) OS 6"map, (1963)
Mound (? Cairn): About 400m SE of Shurrery church and some 22m S of road, is a knoll upon which is a small but prominent heather-clad mound. It is 12m diameter and 1m high on N side, 0.3m high on S. A few large stones protrude from mound, which is undisturbed. As surrounding ground is peat-covered, the existence of this stony mound enhances the possibility of being a cairn.
