Full Description
List description: Later 19th century substantial 2-storey square shooting lodge with regular elevations. Timber cladding painted black and white as dummy studding. Centre entrance in advanced gabled centre bay of wide 3-bay E elevation. Entrance flanked by wide windows giving onto entrance lobby. 5-bay S elevation with advanced and gabled outer bays; single bipartite windows, with 2- and 6-pane glazing; brick coped ridge stacks; Welsh slate roof. Interior; panelled pine window shutters, doors and door jambs. Centre top lit pine lined stairhall; turned pine balusters to staircase and landing. Pine lined dining and drawing rooms with pine joisted ceilings.
Originally Seafield Estate shooting lodge. Original pine interior fittings. Not on 1st ed. OS 1867-69.
