Full Description

P.M. 26/07/96.
A dam, just over a 1m high where it is closest to the burn. There are no signs of sluice gates. Although low, it could have held back a large volume of water in the flat valley of the Allt Clais an Eich. Macgregor (1993, 339) describes the system of dams into and out of Loch a' Gharbh-Choire and three dams on the Allt Clais an Eich.
Information from Ann Wakeling, 11/6/95
