2 October 1980. An obstruction/foul area has been located, using side-scan sonar, at 57 40 40N, 003 57 03W. It appears to be 2 "rings" lying orientated 045/225 degrees and about 25 metres apart. The object could not be detected using echosounder. NGR eastings 283680, northings 866980.
