1 December 1975. An obstruction on the sea bed was reported on 26 November 1975 about 5 miles ESE of Clyth, Caithness. The obstruction might be hazard to fishing gear.
Reporet by DAFS oil developments, 28 November 1975.
Note: 58 16 36N, 003 04 00W is the plotted position. Charted as Fish Fastener.
10 December 1975. The obstruction is an anchor. The latest known position is decca chain 6c red d 14.3,green b 32.4,purple h71. Three attempts to recover the anchor were unsuccessful.
