Full Description
In a shallow bowl to the S of Cnoc Slapin at about 40m OD is a small farm complex comprising:-
1. A ruinous longhouse 18m long x 6.5m wide over walls 1.5m wide. The longhouse has rounded corners and slightly bowed long-walls. A door opening 1.5m wide lies in the centre of the E wall.
2. A byre 8.5m long x 5.75m wide over walls 1.25m wide.
3. A turf and stone dyked enclosure attached to the N end of the longhouse and sweeping round in a round cornered square, enclosing the byre, to the SW corner of the house.
4. A degraded enclosure lying on a low ridge 50m to the S. The whole complex is surrounded by extensive rig and furrow cultivation.
