Full Description
Not certain where the RCAHMS have derived their information from. But site visit to Old Wick Castle indicates that there could have been limited quarrying in the cliffs around the area. The local stone is large slab like formation. Loose scree indicates waste from quarrying - HAW 24/05/2005
