Placename evidence - area labelled Courtfa', with the placename Courtfa' Hill on OS 1st Edition map.
This location is on a flat but gently sloping plateau covered with blanket bog. Old peat cuttings extend over the grid reference given and the surrounding area. There is no natural or manmade feature at or close to the location which could be interpreted as a Moot Hill. Nor is there any local tradition of a meeting place here. <1>
